this place is like no other. the home is beautifully appointed, comfortable and clean and the surrounding land is breathtaking day and night. especially night. matthew was wonderful. i had a medical emergency that kept me from my first reservation and he was compassionate, understanding and flexible. if you want to enhance your visit with an on site massage, i cannot recommend longevity mobile massage more highly. darrell is reliable, affordable and a very gifted massage therapist. Phone number (760) 218-3828 Business website: longevitymassage.com we will be back!!

I was looking for a little sunshine in an effort to escape the winter clouds of the Great Northwest and I sure found it here. I also found an adventure around every turn of every path I was able to encounter during my all to brief stay. At first glance this place appears as a colorless wasteland, only to visually evolve into a haven of out of the way brilliant colors and fantastic natural architecture of huge stacked and withered granite boulders laced with nature's mortar eroding from wind to sand. This is a spiritual place that fills your senses and soul in a way that then never leaves or fades with time. I will be back to this oasis in the wilderness of civilization someday real soon!

A secluded house on a great piece of land. It was like camping with all the amenities. The house was very clean and has everything you need. There is firewood for the fire pit so you don't have to worry about bringing or buying wood. The outdoor beds were great. There's plenty of land to explore. We had a great weekend.

beautiful, otherworldly, amazing location, great well maintained house, super helpful owner. We stayed at the house for a couple of nights while rock climbing in Jtree. What an amazing location! The house is private, stunning and nestled in the boulders overlooking the town and the park. The house was perfectly situated, well provided for and very comfortable.Beds, linens, kitchen, appliances and details were perfect. Its amazing that the house is very remote yet so convenient, its a 10-15 minute drive in to town or the park. Its clear that Matthew works hard to make sure its an exceptional place stay. He has thought of many details, from trail maps to binoculars to star gazing guides. Exploring the property was a really cool treat and I wished we had more time at he house than the two long days we spent climbing, Id love to go back for longer. Its a combination of the beauty you could have camping in the park combined with the comfort that far exceeds any hotel one could find nearby.

Joshua Tree Paradise offers all the comforts of home (and then some), but in a unique setting that is truly magical. Anyone who has ever visited Joshua Tree National park already knows that the desert landscapes in the area are like being in another world... bizarre and beautiful, exciting yet peaceful and serene. Staying at the JTP house offers individuals, couples, or even large families or groups the opportunity to experience that magic on an even more intimate level, while not giving up any creature comforts. It is so nice to be able to step out the front door and see nothing but giant hills of rocks and boulders as far as the eye can see. So peaceful and private. Yet you can also hop in your car and be at JT National park in a mater of minutes. The house itself is completely furnished with everything you could ever imagine you'd want or need during your stay (and several things you probably wouldn't consider, but which you'll be glad to have). The beds and living room furniture are very comfortable and everything is very clean and well kept. The kitchen is amazingly equipped, so making meals is fun and easy. The entertainment center is top-notch. There are also plenty of great games and books. We stayed during a pretty cold weekend, and it was awesome that there was an enormous pile of firewood, so we were able to keep a very cozy fire going in the fireplace. This is the ultimate place to "get away from it all" and give yourself a complete recharge. We had a truly amazing weekend here at Joshua Tree Paradise, and we can't wait to return!

I needed to get away from Los Angeles for a few days and was fortunate enough to spend a weekend at this unbelievable Joshua Tree home. The breathtaking views, rock climbing, caves and jacuzzi that surround the quiet comfort of this beautiful home, were exactly what I needed, and then some. I feel like I have found the greatest getaway in California, and plan to do it again, very soon. And what's really great is, you can bring your friends. The house will sleep 6-8 people comfortably, but if you want to camp out, there are comfortable outdoor beds as well. I love this place!

Joshua Tree Paradise is just that....Paradise! The house is spacious and comfortable, and the property is spectacular! The perfect get-away for adults and children! You can spend hours exploring the hills of rocks right outside of the front door! Then relax while watching the stars come out at night. Perfect! We will be back!

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Joshua Tree, look no further than Joshua Tree Paradise. We loved every minute we spent there, and are definitely coming back! Everything was wonderful...from the décor to the views, to the peaceful tranquility and the serene surroundings. We felt both invigorated and relaxed. Our days were spent hiking, rock climbing, reading and napping... and then there were the evening starry nights. A great getaway. Thank You!

Fans of isolation beware, you will not want to leave! All you'll need to bring is food, your favorite music
and a few clothes. I was only able to stay a few nights but wish I had the time for more. The house is great. Clean and cool, new appliances and the hot tub is a lot of fun. Thanks.

We came to Joshua Tree not knowing exactly what to expect. Boy were we surprised and amazed. The park was amazing, but we found so many things to do at this property. We saw a family of quails, which were so cute. We loved it. It felt like we owned the whole mountain.
